Lower Lake Mary is a day-use recreation area open seasonally, accessibility depends on water levels and local conditions.
Most visitors access the lake via Lake Mary Road (Forest Highway 3) a smooth, paved route directly from Flagstaff.
From Flagstaff, follow Lake Mary Road south for about 7 miles, and the Lower Lake Mary recreation areas will appear on your left.
Suitable for all passenger vehicles. Roads and parking are fully paved, making access easy.
Not required. Lower Lake Mary is managed by Coconino National Forest, and Tonto Pass does not apply here.
