Best Driving Route

From Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway), take the Rural Road or Priest Drive exits. Follow signs to Tempe Beach Park or the marina.

Tempe Town Lake Trail Route

Easily accessible from all parts of the Phoenix Metro area, just 10 minutes from Sky Harbor Airport.

Vehicle Type

Standard cars and bicycles are suitable — fully paved roads and parking lots available.

Tonto Pass

Not required. Tempe Town Lake is managed by the City of Tempe, not the Tonto National Forest.
