Lower Salt River Trail Route

The river is mostly accessible via paved roads, with some dirt roads leading to river entry points and parking areas.

Vehicle Type

Standard vehicles can reach most river access points, but high-clearance vehicles are recommended for remote or unpaved sections.

Tonto Pass

A Tonto National Forest Day Pass is required at access points.
